Your Peace of Mind
Is Our Peace of Mind
Introducing a safe, family atmosphere place to learn and have fun. We prioritize creating a family atmosphere so your child feels safe, accepted and at-home. Inspired by our own childcare philosophy, we believe the only way to ensure these things for your child is for us to be involved with direct care and be licensed by the state of Michigan to proudly uphold health and safety standards such as the following:
Experience You Can Trust
Meet Our Family
Get to know the dedicated caregivers at Little Acres!

Dana Lipinski
Owner
Dana has a Master’s degree in Social Work and Behavioral Psychology to go along with 8+ years of childcare experience. When she isn’t creating the most accepted, fun and loving environment at Little Acres Daycare & Learning Center, she’s doing the exact same things at her own home. Dana is the loving mother to not only her 3 sons, but also to 3 young adopted children. Brianna, Benny and Adrianna. She looks forward to taking them on mini adventures every weekend to festivals, ice cream, and everywhere that’s fun!

Ella Howard
Caregiver
Ella graduated from Columbia Central High School in 2021 and has been working with children for the past four years. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, enjoying quality moments with friends, and making cherished memories with her son.

Skyler Lipinski
Program Director
Skyler has 8 years of combined childcare including but not limited to: youth and high school basketball coaching, youth mentor, and chaperone for special needs, high risk, and behavioral children. When he isn’t at Little Acres Daycare & Learning Center, Skyler is hitting the books after hours on his Master’s level degree in Behavioral Psychology. In any earned free time, he’s an outdoorsman. Fishing, playing with his 3 dogs (Ripley, Remi, and Togan), and enjoying anything having to do with the lake! Skyler also coaches girls varsity basketball at North Adams High School!
Our Four Pillars
Attentive Care
A caregiver-to-child ratio of 1:4 for infants and toddlers, and 1:8 for preschool-aged children. Smaller group sizes allow us to interact more easily with each child and quickly respond to your child’s unique needs.
Highly-trained Staff
We’re always thinking “what if?” In addition to having a desire to care for children, all our staff has ongoing training in CPR and first-aid for all our children and safe-sleep practices for infants.
Health & Safety Practices
When you invest in our childcare, we invest in your child’s overall well-being. Whether it’s providing health whole foods for snack time and lunches, or the daily sanitization of our age rooms, we proactively uphold our health mission.
Playful Learning
You know what they say... the best of kind of learning is when it's fun! We plan daily fun activities to make sure all the children we have under our care have a wonderful time.
